Free DIY Planner Printables and Mini Album Tutorial

Happy Tuesday!

I am so sorry I have been so inactive lately on uploading projects! I am in the middle of a very crucial important and busy time: we got a new puppy whom we are trying to acclimate to our current cat and raising, finishing my Masters in Accounting and sitting for the CPA. Regardless, I want to take the time to thank you for your sweet emails. I am glad that this page inspires you and hope to bring more inspiration once it all quiets down...fingers crossed I get a bit of a reprieve soon.

Anyways, I promised free DIY planner printables a while ago and here they are! I am including as PDF's which are just ready for printing and as .pubs. If you have Microsoft Publisher you will be able to fully edit, personalize, change colors...etc.

If you have any questions about how any of the files work feel free to live a comment below or use the Contact Form on the sidebar of this site!

Birthday tags - Creating in series

Hi everyone!

As I have mentioned in the past few posts I am running low on my birthday cards stash. So to remedy this, I decided to make tags instead of cards. Most of the gifts we give out for other's birthdays we give out in bags and tags are the perfect complement for those! Plus they are super cute, different and easy to make a bunch in series.

Recipe:

  • I chose 6 different cut images and repeated them once (so 12 total)...at approximately 1" maybe a bit larger than that but not much more.
  • Use regular cardstock (not pattern paper) if you will be putting them in front of pattern paper like I did, otherwise it looks cluttered.
  • Cardstock scraps
  • Ovals are 2" x 1.5" and the scallop is just a bit larger than that
  • Pattern paper from your stash
  • (1) 12 x 12" cardstock cut down to 10" x 10"
  • Three .5" strips of cardstock (for the sentiment)
  • Birthday sentiment from: CTMH B1362- Tag the occasion
  • Versamark, white embossing powder
  • Memento's London Fog ink for back
  • Buttons from SU!
  • Metal accents from TPC Studio in Silver and Gold
  • Ice cream cones from Jolee's Boutique "Ice cream repeats"
  • Foam tape
  • Free PNG tag: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B56Xjs5VDKfkdFpQRV9ha0p5M28/edit?usp=sharing
  • Cutting board tutorial post and free "From the kitchen of SVG" : http://lepaperstudio.blogspot.com/2014/06/sneak-peak-personalized-cutting-board.html
  • To learn how to woodburn using your Silhouette for stenciling:

Get well card

Happy Thursday!

Today's card is themed for the recipient: a german shepherd lover and breeder. It is a "sending you get well wishes" type of card, which is why I chose I more elegant look.

Sneak peak personalized cutting board: Silhouette Project

Happy Wednesday!

Here is sneak peak of a project I worked on for a friend's birthday. I cut a stencil of this out using vinyl and my Silhouette. I used the stencil and traced using a sharpie onto the board then I used a woodburning pen to engrave it onto the cutting board. I also ended up getting a big wine glass and engraving it with her initials :)

Super inexpensive and great gift!

Here is a tutorial where I show how to do this exactly: http://lepaperstudio.blogspot.com/2014/02/personalized-wood-chopping-board-apron.html

Graduation Card

Hello!

Today's card I filmed a while ago, just had the video on my stash without editing :). It uses no die-cutting machines, only stickers and stamps...yes. Going back to basics.

Summer Scrapbook Layout

Happy Tuesday!

I have another scrapbook layout project to share today! I have been on this kick to get all of my personal layouts done lately that I have SEVERLY neglected making cards. Now my card stash is down to almost nothing...tsk, tsk...only way to fix it is by making tons of cards. So expect many card making videos next soon.

This layout is actually for a trip we will be making in July, hence the July background paper.

Recipe:

  • Paper from Recollections Year Round paper stack (background, photo mat and top band)
  • Paper scraps from Pebbles' All in the Family
  • Journal with Florish stamp (stampabilities/Hobby Lobby)
  • Dream Text from Stampendous (for grass)
  • Grass wavy border free from Bird
  • Letters from Recollections
