October 5 Kickoff party and Giveaways!



ES!!! Its almost here!!!  We are going to be celebrating the OFFICIAL launch of the Scrapbook Blessing Club Tutorial Blog and Facebook Group this Saturday and Sunday!!!

 
We have a great "party" planned for you. First off, we have an awesome blog hop with a ton of prizes to give away! And after you you met the new design team and are done hopping, you can head over to the Facebook Group for a fun game of Scrapbook Bingo (this starts at 10am CST so make sure you get your words in before hand, they will be posted on the blog this Monday the 30th) and our SBC Scavenger Hunt (this game will start at 12 pm EST).  So come over to the group to win some great prizes, hint... paypal money is involved so you can buy some more crafting goodies!
 
I will be giving away three wooden stamps, a 6x6 American Crafts paper pad, cardstock with white core (my new weakness), DCWV chalkboard stickers (yes, real chalkboard!), a decorative spool of ribbon and some fun shaped brads!
 
Giveaway will start on Saturday October 5 and run through Saturday October 12! To participate I will have a Rafflecopter sign-up, just follow Scrapbook Blessings, and my blog (lepaperstudio.blogspot.com) for a chance to win. Follow my youtube channel, pinterest or tumblr for additional entries! (The fun starts on Saturday!)

RECIPE:
(2) 8.5" x 11" green sheets of cardstock (can be any color you wish to alternate)
(1) 8.5" x 11" beige cardstock for shadow part
(1) 8.5 x 11" blue cardstock for actual tag
(10) 3 3/3 x 2 3/4" envelopes (got mine from envelopes.com)
Embossing folder
Alphabet stamps
Cute box to make it a gift set (optional)

Christmas card using New Create a Friend cartridge

Happy Monday everyone!

Today I have two different Christmas cards, one using the new Create a Friend Cricut cartridge, and the next one using Create a Critter and Teddy Bear Parade. I also complemented my Cricut cuts with Spellbinder dies.



FIRST CARD RECIPE:
A2 sized card, green base with white core
Fancy Frames cut at 5 1/2" and 4 1/4" in ivory c.s.
Create a Friend cuts: 47 and 48 at 2"

Festive Sports Themed Scrapbook Layout

Today's theme at My Cricut Craft Room is Festive Sports Themed Layouts. I did my undergrad at University of Central Florida, and we bleed black and gold! For this layout I used the new Create a Friend Cricut cartridge, Plantin School Book and Cricut Font and Basic Shapes cartridge. (Scroll down to see more images)
 

 
 
Recipe:
  • Mat 1 : (6 1/4" x 4 1/4", 6" x 4", 5 3/4" x 3 3/4")
  • Mat 2: (4" x 4 1/4", 3 3/4" x 4", 3 1/2" x 3 3/4")
  • Create a Friend cuts 11 and 12 @ 2.5"
  • Football at 1"
  • UCF and Knights lettering cut at 2.5" and welded using CCR
  • Scallop edge border cut at 11" x .5"
  • Journaling tags cut from Cricut Font and Basic Shapes at 5" x 2.5" and shadow cut at 5 1/4" x 2 3/4" (roughly)
  • Most edges inked
  • Papers from: Recollections (open stock), Paper Studio
  • Stamp from Stampabilities
